After many years of hearing from God, Reverend Michael Greer accepted his purpose
and calling in God's Kingdom to preach and proclaim the Gospel. Reverend Greer was
licensed to exercise his spiritual gifts by the Aiken Chapel Missionary Baptist
Church of Taylors, South Carolina under the leadership of Pastor W.O. Harrison, Sr.
Reverend Greer attended Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South Carolina, as
well as Southern Wesleyan University in Greenville. He received a Diploma in Theology
from the N.J. Brockman School of Religion.
God found Reverend Greer to be faithful over the few things; therefore, God had more
work for him. In February 2008, the Spirit of God moved into the hearts of New Pilgrim
Baptist Church to call Reverend Greer to be their Interim Pastor. After a few months of
service in that capacity, the church called Reverend Greer to be their pastor. On May
10, 2008, Reverend Greer accepted the call to be the Pastor of New Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Reverend Greer currently volunteers at the Greenville Rescue Mission. He also serves on
the Board of Directors with the Center for Community Service in Simpsonville, South
Carolina. He is a member of the Cooperative Ministries Commitee of Martin-Webb Learning
Center.
